The forum, hosted by the NCAA, is an annual educational program that brings together 200 selected NCAA student-athletes to learn about and explore potential careers in sports, particularly college athletics. The unique three-day forum helps student-athletes chart their career paths. Participants network with and learn from current athletics professionals.

"This opportunity was nothing short of a blessing," shared Norman. "I was able to hear from so many profound speakers such as Will Baggett, Charles L, Bailey Jr Speaks, Felicia Martin, and so many more. I was also able to share these moments with my fellow peers and learned so much from them as well. I learned more about what it takes to become a true leader, understanding that purpose trumps passion, and that my life is not a competition, it is a journey. I've had powerful conversations and connections that will last with me throughout my life and I'm very grateful for every single one even if it was a simple hello."

"We are so proud of Debarrin and to have him represent us at the NCAA career in Sports Forum means a lot," explained Head Men's Basketball Coach Adam Van Zelst. "Watching our student athletes grow into young adults is what coaching is about to us. Debarrin is a special person and we are lucky to have him in our program."
