DALLAS, Tx. - The Arcadia University's women's volleyball, Bryana Saenz, tallied her 1,000th assist as the team split in its tri-match against Howard Payne University 0-3 (11-25, 16-25, 18-25) and University of Dallas 3-0 (25-20, 25-9, 25-19) to gain its first win of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1: ARCADIA 11, HOWARD PAYNE 25

- Arcadia gathered the first point of the game, but Howard Payne went on a run to take an early lead.

- Points from Devon Young, Juliana Bockhaus, and Kelsi Warner cut into the Knights' deficit in the middle of the frame. 

- The Yellow Jackets remained in control and took set one.

Set 2: ARCADIA 16, HOWARD PAYNE 25

- Arcadia got on the board first with a kill from Chana Rothschild. 

- The Knights tied the set at 13 after going on a 7-1 run. 

- Howard Payne pulled away and took the set.

Set 3: ARCADIA 18, HOWARD PAYNE 25

- The Yellow Jackets took a commanding lead to open the set.

- Despite five straight points from Arcadia, Howard Payne secured the sweep.

- The set opened evenly with both teams trading points and locking it in at five.

- Dallas pulled away with the lead.

- Six kills from Arcadia gave them the lead in the middle of the frame.

- The Knights surged behind four kills from Rothschild, Nina Corazo, Young, and Archelle, securing them the first set.

Set 2: ARCADIA 25, UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS 9

- Arcadia went on a 13-3 run to open the set.

- The Knights remained in control and put on a dominating performance to collect set two.
 

Set 3: ARCADIA 25, UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS 19

- The Crusaders jumped out in front with four quick points.

- Arcadia went on a 12-2 run in the middle of the frame to regain control.

- A kill from Young locked in the sweep for the Knights.
