GLENSIDE - Logan Watkins opened the scoring early and
Sean Lock scored twice to lead the Arcadia University men's soccer team to a 3-1 win over Alvernia in non-conference play from Jean Lenox West Field on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Watkins opened the scoring just over a minute into the match when
Scott Jordan sprung him for a mini-breakaway, burying the opportunity.
-Lock doubled the lead in the 38th minute when a handball was called on the Golden Wolves in the box. Alvernia's goalkeeper stopped the initial penalty kick but Lock converted on the rebound.
-Alvernia cut the lead in half in the 67th minute.
-The Knights avoided disaster in the 70th minute when keeper
Aden Razukiewicz was assessed a red card after taking down a Golden Wolves forward in on goal just outside the box.
Logan Gildea entered with Arcadia now down a man for the final 20 minutes, making a diving save on the ensuing free kick.
-Lock converted a penalty kick in the 79th minute to finish the scoring.
-Razukiewicz and Gildea both stopped three shots.
