GLENSIDE - Ashley Evans' 46th minute tally lifted the Arcadia University women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over The College of New Jersey, who is receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Division III National Top 25, in non-conference play at Jean Lenox West Field on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Arcadia barely missed going ahead in the fourth minute when
Payton Lindsay knocked a shot off the crossbar.
-Evans came inches from getting the Knights on the board in the 16th minute when she rang a shot off the right post.
-TCNJ put four shots on net in the first half but
Abby Fuchs kept the scored knotted at zeros.
-Evans opened the scoring in the 46th minute when she deposited a cross from
Abby Stephens off the Lions keeper and in.
-The Knights defense locked TCNJ up in the second half, allowing five shots, all stopped by Fuchs.
-Fuchs finished with nine saves for the clean sheet.
