READING, Pa. - The Arcadia University's women's volleyball team defeated Albright College in non conference action 3-2 (23-25, 25-16, 20-25, 25-29, 15-13) on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1: ARCADIA 23, ALBRIGHT 25

- Arcadia opened with early kills from Devon Young and Chana Rothschild to take a 4–1 lead.

- Both teams traded points, keeping the score tight at 7-7.

- Bryana Saenz delivered a service ace to edge Arcadia ahead, 9-7.

- The teams battled point-for-point to 19-19.

- The Knights fought back, closing the gap to 23-24,  but the Lions were able to take set one.

Set 2: ARCADIA 25, ALBRIGHT 16

- Albright opened strong, taking a quick 2–0 lead.

- Arcadia answered with kills from Chana Rothschild and Nina Corazo to even the score at 3-3.

- Mid-set momentum came from kills by Young, Rothschild, and Kelsi Warner, building a 15-10 advantage.

- Arcadia closed the set with kills from Kylie Strange and others, securing the second set, 25-16. 

Set 3: ARCADIA 20, ALBRIGHT 25

- Albright jumped out to an early 4–0 lead.

- The Knights responded with kills from Young and Rothschild to close the gap, tying the set at 5-5.

- Arcadia stayed close with kills by Young, but Albright maintained a narrow lead.

- The Lions closed out the set 25-20

Set 4: ARCADIA 25, ALBRIGHT 19

- The Knights came out hot with four straight points, including kills from Bryana Saenz and Young.

- Arcadia extended their lead early with kills from Kylie Strange and Alliy Kulas to go up 7-4.

- Albright answered, trimming the deficit to 9-8.

- The Knights regrouped with steady kills from Rothschild, Young, and Warner, stretching the lead to 20-16.

- Arcadia forced a fifth set. 

Set 5: ARCADIA 15, ALBRIGHT 13

- Albright struck first with an opening kill

- The Knights answered quickly as Saenz set up a kill for Corazo to tie it 1-1.

- The Lions extended their lead to 5-3

- Young delivered back-to-back kills to tie it again at 9-9 before Albright called timeout.

- Hannah Fryer capped the run with a kill from Rothschild as Arcadia secured the win.
