HOBOKEN, N.J. - The Arcadia University men's basketball team survived a late scare to earn it first Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) win of the season with a 66-65 victory at Stevens on Saturday afternoon.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia improved to 1-1 in conference and 8-5 overall.
-Stevens fell to 0-2 and 6-7, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Arcadia jumped out to a 5-0 lead on a
Josh Parks three-pointer and a
Jamison Lynam layup.
-A 21-13 stretch for the Knights gave them a 26-13 lead with 4:39 until halftime.
-Arcadia held a 31-22 advantage going into the break.
-The Knights were ahead 50-41 with 11 minutes left but a 21-11 run by Stevens put Arcadia behind by one with 3:43 remaining.
-The Knights led by one with under a second left as the Ducks ran an inbound play underneath their basket where the tipped in a pass after time had expired.
