WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - A last-minute goal tied the score and a goal 3:38 into overtime sealed the game as the Arcadia University women's ice hockey team fell at Wilkes by a 3-2 final in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) play on Saturday afternoon.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia fell to 6-2-1 in MAC play and 8-3-2 overall.
-Wilkes improved to 8-1-0 and 10-1-1, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Phoebe Roberts opened the scoring for Arcadia at 10:50 of the first unassisted.
-After a scoreless second, Roberts doubled the lead a 1:19 of the third with assists from
Kianna Saillant and
Carys Jelley.
-Wilkes got on the board at 6:04 of the third.
-The Colonels pulled their goalie with 1:01 left in the game, and scored four seconds later to send the game to overtime.
-Wilkes notched the game-winner halfway through the extra frame.

Gabby Meger stopped 39 shots in goal.
