GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University women's basketball team shrugged off an 0-for-4 start from the field with three turnovers through the first four minutes to top Misericordia by a 68-54 final in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play inside Alumni Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia improved to 9-6 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
-Misericordia fell to 6-8 and 1-2, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights got off to a slow start before two
Hanna Rhoades free throws got them on the board.
-Arcadia finished the first quarter on a 22-4 run after trailing 4-0, leading 22-8 after ten minutes.
-The second quarter was a back-and-forth affair as the Knights entered the break holding a 34-23 advantage.
-Arcadia began the third on a 10-4 run to push its lead to 44-27.
-The Knights led by as much as 20, entering the fourth ahead 57-39.
-Misericordia cut the lead to 60-53 with 90 seconds left, but Arcadia went 8-for-8 from the free throw line to end the game.
