NEWTOWN, Pa. - The Arcadia University baseball team has been selected to finish first in the 2026 Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) preseason coaches poll, as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.
The Knights, who earned five first place votes, ended the 2025 regular season as the number three seed, then went on the road to sweep second-seeded Misericordia and sweep top-seeded Stevens en route to the conference championship.
Arcadia opens the 2026 season on Saturday, February 21st at 12:00 p.m. when it travels to the University of Scranton. MAC Freedom play kicks off Friday, March 13th against FDU-Florham at Skip Wilson Field with first pitch scheduled for 3:30 p.m., while the conference tournament is scheduled to commence May 1st at the home sites of the two highest seeds.
