ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Arcadia University men's ice hockey team bounced back from a Friday night loss to St. John Fisher University with a 3-2 victory over the Cardinals on Saturday to earn a weekend split. The Knights move to 6-5-1 overall and 3-4-1 in conference play.
Arcadia received goals from Elijah Clow, Bryce Battaglia, and Brendan Dicker, whose power-play tally in the second period proved to be the game winner. Junior goaltender Hayden Williamson anchored the victory with an outstanding performance in net, making 49 saves while allowing just two goals.
St. John Fisher held a 43-29 edge in faceoffs, with Cody Matsay leading the Knights by winning 13 draws. Arcadia capitalized on one of its two power-play opportunities, while the penalty kill was perfect, shutting down all four Cardinal power plays.
