CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's basketball team clinched a spot in the 2026 Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Championship Tournament with a 69-65 win at DeSales on Wednesday evening.

FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights improved to 16-6 overall and 9-2 in conference play.

-DeSales fell to 14-9 and 8-3, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-DeSales opened the game with a 17-11 lead through the first six minutes.

-Arcadia closed the first half on a 33-13 run, heading into the break with a 44-30 lead.

-The Knights held a 51-40 lead almost six minutes into the second half but a 29-14 run gave the Bulldogs a 59-58 advantage with four minutes on the clock.

-The count was tied at 61 with just over three minutes left before Arcadia finished the contest with an 8-4 stretch to secure the win and the playoff spot.
