GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University women's basketball team topped top-ranked DeSales 34-30 in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play inside Alumni Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.

With tonight's win, the Knights have officially clinched a spot in the 2026 MAC Freedom Championship Tournament.

FOR THE RECORD
-The Knights improved to 15-8 overall and and 8-3 in conference play.

-DeSales fell to 15-7 and 9-2, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-With the score tied at six and 4:30 gone, a 4-0 stretch to end the quarter gave the Knights a 10-6 lead going into the second.

-Arcadia was outscored 14-4 in the second quarter, heading into halftime facing a 20-14 deficit.

-Trailing 22-16, back-to-back three pointers from Abby Beam and Delaney Bell tied the score at 22.

-The Knights held a 26-24 lead heading into the final 10 minutes.

-Arcadia went 3-for-4 from the line in the final minute to secure the victory.
