WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The Arcadia University women's wrestling team competed in its first NCAA Region II Championship, hosted by West Liberty University in West Liberty, West Virginia. Three Knights remain alive in the consolation brackets and advanced to the second day of competition.
At 103 pounds, Sam Larkin dropped her opening bout of the tournament. At 138 pounds, Molly Lubenow fell in her first match by fall before responding with a victory by decision to move forward in the consolation bracket. Eve Kurtz, competing at 160 pounds, opened her day with a win by technical superiority, then dropped her next match before securing a decision victory in her final bout to advance to Saturday's competition.
