GLENSIDE - Tied at 55, a jumper from
Nas Johnson seemed to be the game winner, but after 0.6 seconds were put back on the clock, a halfcourt heave ended the No.1 seed Arcadia University men's basketball teams run in the 2026 Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Tournament as the Knights fell 58-57 to No. 4 Misericordia on Wednesday evening inside Alumni Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Both teams battled early as the Knights held a 10-5 lead through the first three minutes.
-Misericordia battled back with an 18-8 stretch to go in front 23-18 with just over eight minutes on the clock.
-Arcadia faced a 31-30 deficit going into halftime.
-Neither team was able to go ahead by more than five points in the half.
-Trailing 55-54,
Joshua Okocha hit the front end of two free throws to knot the score at 55.
-After forcing a missed layup on the other end, the Knights came down the floor and held the ball as Johnson went left and hit a turn around jumper as the clock appeared to expire.
-After a review, the officials put 0.6 second on the clock.
-On the resulting inbound play underneath Arcadia's basket, Arvel Chandler hit a streaking Eli Stoute, who put up the prayer and hit a miracle shot with 0.2 seconds left to give Misericordia the victory.Â
