LITTLE RIVER, S.C. - The Arcadia University softball team capped off its trip to South Carolina with a 26-1 win over Pricipia before a 9-3 defeat of Centenary on Wednesday.

-The Knights return home with a 7-3 record.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: ARCADIA 26, PRINCIPIA 1 (F/5)
-Arcadia opened the scoring in the bottom of the first with seven runs on one hit.
-The Knights exploded in the second, scoring 17 runs on seven hits to take a 24-0 lead.
-Principia got on the board with a run in the top of the fourth.
-
Maddie DeChristopher and
Dakota Fanelli finished the scoring with RBI's in the bottom of the fourth.
-Fanelli earned the win in the circle, allowing one run on four hits with zero walks and seix strikeouts in a complete-game effort.

GAME TWO: ARCADIA 9, CENTENARY 3 (F/6)

Caity Hinton opened the scoring in the bottom of the first with a single to center scoring Passaro.
-Arcadia added five runs in the bottom of the second on RBI's from Passaro,
Stephanie Binek, and DeMaio.
-Centenary cut the lead with one run in the third and two in the fifth.
-The Knights finished the scoring in the bottom of the fifth on a two-run double from
Kiersten Murray scoring DeMaio and
Alexa Kozarski, followed by an RBI triple off Passaro's bat plating Murray.

Mac Champion earned her third win of the season, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits with one walk and four strikouts in another complete game.
