AMBLER - The Arcadia University baseball team fell twice to Stevens on Saturday in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play, falling 4-3 in game one and 13-8 in game two from Skip Wilson Field.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia fell to 17-10 overall and 10-5 in conference.
-Stevens improved to 17-13 and 8-7, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: ARCADIA 3, STEVENS 4

Kevin Wheeler got the Knights on the board in the bottom of the third with a single to center that scored
Eric Shandler.
-Stevens scored twice in the top of the fourth to take the lead.

Solomon Abdullah came in on a wild pitch in the bottom of the sixth to tie the score.
-The Ducks scored twice on a fly ball lost in the sun in the top of the seventh to retake the lead.
-
Max Oswald cut the deficit to 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh with a single up the middle that brought home Wheeler.

-The Knights opened the scoring in the bottom of the first when Wheeler scored on a wild pitch and Stennett singled to right bringing home Pustilnik.
-Wheeler added a third run in the second on a double to right that scored Shandler.
-Stevens crossed the plate once in the fourth and fifth and three times in the sixth to take a 5-3 lead.
-Pustilnik cut the deficit to 5-4 in the bottom of the sixth on a bases loaded walk that scored
Jake Keirstead.
-The Ducks scored eight times in the top of the eighth.

Braeden Black and
Peter Trendafilov each brought home two runs apiece in the bottom of the eighth.
