GLENSIDE - Mac Champion's complete-game effort helped lead the Arcadia University softball team to a split with Widener on Monday, taking game two 4-1 after falling 11-2 in game one.

GAME TWO: ARCADIA 4, WIDENER 1
-Arcadia opened the scoring in the bottom of the second with two runs.

Molly Delio increased the lead to 3-0 in the third with a groundout that scored
Caitlynn Pleska.
-After Widener cut the lead to 3-1, Delio came through again in the bottom of the fifth with a single to center that plated
Sybella DeMaio.
-Champion allowed just a single run in seven innings on five hits with three walks and three strikeouts.

-Widener jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the first.
-Arcadia cut the deficit to 4-1 in the bottom of the inning when Murray scored on an infield single from Pleska.
-The Pride added four runs in the second and three in the fifth.
-Delio finished the scoring in the bottom of the fifth with a single to center that the centerfielder bobbled, allowing Murray to score.
