Women's Lacrosse Close 2026 Season with Dominant Senior Day Victory Over FDU-Florham

GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team capped its 2026 campaign in emphatic fashion with a 19–3 victory over FDU-Florham on Saturday afternoon at home. The Knights finish the season 13–4 overall and 4–3 in MAC Freedom play.

Arcadia was powered by five-goal performances from Avery Ditze and Jordyn Chan. Jaylee Killgore, Allyson Reidenbach, and Ella Longacre each added two goals, while Mackenzie Clark, Alejandra Roemer, and Meghan Graham each found the back of the net once.

The Knights controlled the game in all phases, outshooting the Devils 54–17, including a 34–7 advantage in shots on goal. Arcadia forced 36 turnovers while committing just 12 and was a perfect 27-for-27 on clears, while limiting FDU-Florham to 5-for-30. The Knights also doubled the Devils in ground balls, 32–16, and converted 3-of-4 free-position attempts. Florham held a slight edge in draw controls, 13–12.

Mackenzie Clark led a dominant defensive effort with seven ground balls, five caused turnovers, and three draw controls. Angelina Vecchione earned the start in goal and recorded six saves while allowing just three goals.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• FDU-Florham won the opening draw, but Olivia Forant quickly caused a turnover to give possession back to Arcadia. Jordyn Chan collected the ground ball and found Avery Ditze, who opened the scoring with her 36th goal of the season.
• Following another caused turnover by Nikki McMenamin, Chan again picked up the ground ball, leading to Ditze's second goal and a 2–0 lead.
• Later in the first quarter, Ella Longacre forced a turnover, and Chan collected another ground ball before assisting Mackenzie Clark for her 29th goal of the season.
• Chan closed out the quarter with two goals, including a free-position tally and another off an assist from Longacre, giving Arcadia a 5–0 lead.
• The Devils got on the board early in the second quarter with a man-up goal following an initial save by Vecchione.
• Arcadia responded immediately as Clark won the draw control, leading to Ditze completing her hat trick off an assist from Meghan Graham.
• Ditze added another free-position goal before the Knights capitalized on a two-player advantage with three consecutive man-up goals. Longacre struck first off a feed from Graham, then Graham scored on the ensuing draw, and Longacre capped the run with another goal assisted by Clark. Arcadia led 10–1 at halftime.
• The Knights continued their momentum in the second half as Ditze scored again to open the third quarter.
• Killgore netted her first goal of the game while the Knights were man-down, followed by her second shortly after FDU-Florham answered with a free-position goal. Her 60th goal of the season marked 100 career goals in just two seasons.
• Chan added two more goals, and Roemer scored off an assist from Reidenbach to extend the lead.
• In the fourth quarter, Reidenbach scored twice before Chan added a free-position goal to seal the 19–3 victory.
