GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University softball team wrapped up its 2026 regular season on Sunday, falling in both ends of a Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) doubleheader with Misericordia.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: ARCADIA 6, MISERICORDIA 12
-Misericordia opened the scoring with three runs in the top of the second.

-Arcadia cut the deficit to 3-2 in the bottom of the third on RBI singles from Molly Delio and Caity Hinton.

-The Cougars crossed the plate five times in the top of the fourth to take an 8-2 lead.

-Abby Jones singled to right scoring Alexa Kozarski in the bottom of fifth followed by three-run double in the left-center gap from Sybella DeMaio in the bottom of the fifth to cut the deficit to 8-6.

-Misericordia scored two runs each in the sixth and seventh to finish the scoring.

GAME TWO: ARCADIA 7, MISERICORDIA 14
-The Cougars raced out to an 14-0 lead with four runs in the first, seven in the second, and three in the third.

-Arcadia crossed the plate four times in the bottom of the third on an infield single from Kozarski scoring DeMaio, followed by a two-run single to center from Caitlynn Pleska bringing home Drozdowski and Kozarski. Maddie Porter singled to center later in the inning bringing home Stephanie Binek.

-Binek and Pleska finished the scoring in the bottom of the fourth with RBI singles.
