AMBLER - Seven runs through the first three innings helped the Arcadia University baseball team earn a split with DeSales, taking game two 11-6 after falling 13-1 in game one of its Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) doubleheader from Skip Wilson Field on Saturday afternoon.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia moved to 16-8 overall and 9-3 in conference play.
-DeSales stands at 17-10 and 10-2, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME TWO: ARCADIA 11, DESALES 6
-The Knights opened game two with four runs in the bottom of the first on a
Ryan Radigan bases-loaded walk and a bases-clearing double from
Will Childs.
-DeSales got on the board with one run in the top of the second.
-
Max Oswald increased the lead to 6-1 in the bottom of the second when he launched a two-run no doubt home run to left that scored
Jake Keirstead.
-Childs' RBI single to center in the bottom of the third bringing home
Thomas Strauch increased Arcadia's lead to 7-1.
-Keirstead and Shandler brought home one run each with doubles.

Hunter Dicarlantonio earned his fourth win in 3.2 innings of relief.

Gavin Kincs tossed 3.2 scoreless innings to earn the save.
