  • Four minutes later, Hudgins made a save to spark the transition, and Johnson scored off an assist from Alden Cathey to give the Knights a 2-0 lead.
  • Shortly after, Cathey's shot was saved, but Alex Greenberg collected the ground ball, setting up Reilly Robichaud for his first goal and a 3-0 advantage.
  • The Cougars got on the board following a turnover, but Robichaud answered with his second goal of the quarter, sending Arcadia into the second period with a 4-1 lead.
  • Misericordia struck early in the second to cut the deficit in half, but Johnson responded immediately after the faceoff with his second goal of the game to make it 5-2.
  • The Cougars closed the half with three unanswered goals to even the score at 5-5.
  • In the third quarter, TJ Shillingford caused a turnover and picked up the ground ball before finding Johnson, who assisted on Greenberg's go-ahead goal for a 6-5 lead.
  • Misericordia responded with back-to-back goals to take a 7-6 advantage, but Johnson completed his hat trick to tie the game at 7-7 heading into the fourth quarter.
  • Sean Perkinson gave Arcadia an 8-7 lead early in the fourth, capitalizing on an assist from Dylan Garber after multiple shot attempts were turned away.
  • The Cougars answered to tie the game at 8-8, but Robichaud completed his hat trick off an assist from Mason Barndt to put the Knights back in front.
  • Misericordia tied the game once more with just over five minutes remaining.
