GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University field hockey is looking for rise in the standings in year two of the tenure of head coach
Regan Sammons '23 M.Ed '26 in 2026.
The Knights finished last season 4-14 overall with a roster that featured 14 first-year student athletes who gained valuable experience. The team lost three seniors from a year ago, and will be bringing in six first-years to compete for time in 2026.
On the backline,
Kyra Moyer returns to lead the unit after starting all 39 contests she has appeared in over the last two seasons. Returners joining Moyer on defense include
Sophia Dwyer,
Audrey Moreno,
A'Brianna Smith, and
Breyona Velez, while first year
Lilly Ferrari will look to break through for time in her inaugural season with Arcadia.
In the middle,
Elaina Washburn started all 18 games a season ago.
Gianna Shirlow,
Jenna Talbot,
Megan Sladish, and
Mackenzie Connell bring valuable experience while first-years
Ava Morton and
Karissa Corvinus enter their first seasons aiming to make an impact.
Up front,
Mackenzie Clark was named Second Team All-Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) a season ago after scoring seven goals and registering two assists. Returning this season with Clark are
Ava O'Connor,
Dylan Snyder,
Lindsey Beattie,
Addy Cieri,
Avery Patterson, and
Ashley Avington, while
Olivia Fetterman,
Lane DerOhannessian, and
Lilli Clark step into their first season with an opportunity to contribute to the teams success.
In goal,
Anna Doblovosky returns as a three-year starter who was named Honorable Mention All-MAC Freedom in 2024.
Samantha Thomas and
Erin Parrett return with Doblovosky to patrol the cage.
The Knights, who were picked seventh in the 2026 MAC Freedom Preseason Coaches Poll, kick off the 2026 season on Tuesday, September 1st when they travel to Stockton for a 7:00 p.m. non-conference game. Arcadia begins MAC Freedom play on October 3rd when they host Lebanon Valley College, while the MAC Freedom Tournament is slated to begin November 2nd with the First Round game.
