Women's Soccer Falls at No. 8 Messiah

GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's soccer team fell 4-0 to No. 8 Messiah University on Saturday afternoon. The Knights move to 2-4-2 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Falcons opened the scoring in the 29th minute to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.

  • The hosts added two goals early in the second half, scoring in the 50th and 60th minutes to extend their advantage to 3-0.

  • Messiah added its fourth and final goal in the 83rd minute.

  • Goalkeeper Olivia Petty turned in a historic performance for the Knights, recording 16 saves on the afternoon. Her 16 saves are tied for third in program history for saves in a single game.
