2016-17: MAC Bronze Medalist as a member of the program record-setting 400 Medley Relay (3:30.75)… Second-Team All-MAC as a member of the fourth-place and program record-setting 200 Medley Relay (1:36.26)… Received All-MAC Honorable Mention in the 100 Breaststroke (1:00.03) and 200 Breaststroke (2:15.02)… Also placed 16th in the 200 IM (2:04.82) at MACs… Scored in three individual events and two relays at the ECAC Winter Championships as Arcadia placed 6th of 11 overall and was first among Division III teams… Scored in two individual events and three relays as Arcadia won the Diamond City Invitational.

2015-16: Placed third in the 200 Breaststroke (2:23.30), seventh in the 200 IM (2:13.49), eighth in the 100 Breaststroke (1:06.33) as Arcadia won the Diamond City Invitational… Was additionally a member of the third-place 200 Medley (1:44.65) and 400 Medley Relay (3:43.72), and eighth-place 200 Freestyle relay (1:35.27) at Diamond City… Placed ninth in the 200 Breaststroke (2:18.14) and 10th in the 100 Breaststroke (1:02.28) as the Knights placed sixth of 11 teams at the ECAC Winter Championships ... Also placed sixth as a member of the 200 Free Relay (1:31.39) and 200 Medley Relay (1:40.48) at ECACs.

High School: 2014 graduate of Pocono Mountain East High School… Was coached by Tyler Dolph as a member of the swimming team… Led his team to a pair of conference championships… Earned All-District honors in each of his four seasons.
 
Personal: Son of Liliana and Sorin Nicolescu… His brother, Bogdan, attends Penn State University… His two sisters, Mihaela and Rachael, attend East Stroudsburg University… Would like to study abroad in England.
