Honors: 2018 - Second Team All-MAC Commonwealth … 2016 -  Honorable Mention to the All-MAC Commonwealth Team 

2018: Appeared in 46 games with 43 starts at second base…Totaled a .297 batting average with 41 hits, including six doubles and a triple… Recorded 27 RBIs and 22 runs scored… Was 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored against Ohio Wesleyan (3/14)… Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs against Lebanon Valley (3/18)… Recorded four hits in six at bats during a doubleheader at Albright, including two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored (4/14)… Was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored at Hood (4/20)… Went 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored against Hood (4/21)… Was 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs, and two runs scored against Stevenson (4/27).

2017: Started in all 45 games as a sophomore, primarily at second base… Batted .291 with 37 hits, six doubles, 29 runs scored and 26 RBI… Was 1 for 2 with three RBI and two steals in a 10-4 game-two win over Swarthmore (2/25)… Drew two walks, stole two bases and scored two runs in a 9-6 win over Franklin & Marshall (3/7)… Went 2 for 3 with two runs scored and anther driven in in a 14-1 win over Hood (4/2)… Went 2 for 3 with two runs scored in a 23-3 win at Eastern (4/5)… Was 3 for 5 with two doubles, four RBI and a run scored in a doubleheader sweep of Albright (4/8)… Went 5 for 7 with four RBI and three runs scored in a 27-5 win at Widener (4/14)… Was 1 for 2 with two RBI and a run scored in a win over Messiah (4/21)… Went 3 for 3 with a double, and RBI and a run scored in an 8-1 game-one win over Messiah (4/22)… Went 4 for 4 with three RBI and two runs scored in an 18-6 win at Gwynedd Mercy (5/2)… Was 1 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored in Arcadia’s MAC Commonwealth title clinching 8-4 win over Alvernia (5/7).

2016: Started in 22 of his 24 games played, mostly at second base… Batted .253 with 19 hits, five doubles, 13 RBI and 14 runs scored… Went 1-3 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in a win over Immaculata (2/20)… was 1-2 with two RBI and a run scored in a win over SUNY Canton (3/9) in the Roberto Clemente Cup Championship… Was 1-3 with a double and an RBI against Franklin & Marshall (3/22)… Was 1-2 with two RBI in a win at Swarthmore (3/29)… Went 2-2 with a walk and two runs scored in a game-one win over Messiah (4/2)… Was 2-3 with an RBI and a run scored in a win at Messiah (4/5)… Went 1-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a game-two win at Albright (4/10)… Was 3-6 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in a win over Stevenson (4/15)… Went 2-5 with two runs scored in a game-one at Stevenson (4/16)… Was 1-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a win over Lebanon Valley (4/22)… Went 1-4 with a double and two RBI against Alvernia (4/30).

High School: 2015 graduate of Council Rock South…Played four years of baseball under Ted Kirner…Received Honorable Mention to the Suburban One Team…Competed in one season of basketball.

Personal: Son of Linda and Nick Ponente…Has three sisters, Courtney, Alexandra and Dominique.
