INDOOR FACILITIES
Kuch Recreation and Athletic Center (Photo Gallery)
The Kuch Center contains Alumni Gymnasium; Lenox Pool; Sports Training and Fitness Centers; an Indoor Track; Aerobics and Dance Studio; Locker Rooms; Athletic Training Services; Saunas; Athletics and Recreation Offices; the Hall of Fame and Trophy Room; and an ATM. The new University Commons opened in 2012 as an addition to the Kuch Recreation and Athletic Center.
Alumni Gymnasium, seats 1,500, and includes brand new basketball and volleyball courts as well as an upper-level running track. It is used the primary practice and competition facility for Men's & Women's Basketball and Women's Volleyball and also serves as a practice facility for most intercollegiate teams. Special campus events such as distinguished speakers and Knight Madness are also held in Alumni Gymnasium.
Lenox Pool, a gift from Jean Lenox West ’57, is a six-lane, 25-yard, NCAA regulation, wave-resistant swimming pool.
The Center includes two new Sports Training and Fitness Centers and an Aerobics and Dance Studio.
The Dome, a multi-purpose, heated and lighted 18,406 square foot facility functioning primarily as an additional sports training space. The Dome is located at the Weiss Tennis Courts and is open from mid-October through early March. It spans three tennis courts and is opposite of Blankley Field. The artificial grass surface allows for athletic practices as well as intramurals and recreation activities.
OUTDOOR FACILITIES
Arcadia University intercollegiate athletic teams practice and compete at seven different outdoor facilities located both on and within close proximity to our campus in Glenside, Pa.
Blankley Field
NCAA regulation field used for Softball with natural grass outfield. A spectator pavilion and outdoor seating surround the complex. Named in honor of almna and Field Hockey All-American player Rosemary Deniken Blankey '57.
Jean Lenox West Field
Arcadia's new lighted turf field and fieldhouse, overlooking Grey Towers Castle, and used for Men's & Women's Lacrosse, Men's & Women's Soccer and Field Hockey.
Haber Green
Natural grass surface in the heart of campus used for intramurals & recreation as well as NCAA contests. Named in honor of Lois Haber '71 and her husband Michael and dedicated to her class, the Class of 1971.
Weiss Courts
Six NCAA regulation courts used for Men's & Women's Tennis. From mid-October through early March the Dome covers the three courts opposite Blankley Field. The complex is named in honor of alumna and nationally-ranked player Betty Holton Weiss '60.
