Bryan Torresani enters his eighth season as the Head Baseball Coach at Arcadia in 2024.
In seven seasons, Torresani holds an overall record of 187-88 (.680) and a conference record of 101-34 (.748). Torresani's 187 wins currently rank first on the program's all-time wins list.
Torresani's teams have reached the conference tournament every season, including winning the conference in 2017, 2018, 2022, and 2023. The team advanced to the NCAA Division III Regional each year, including hosting the Glenside Regional and advancing to the Regional Final in 2022. The team hosted the Regional in 2023 as well.
Torresani has been named the Conference Coach of the Year twice, in 2017 and 2022. He has also coached five Conference Player/Pitcher of the Year, 34 All-Conference selections, 18 American Baseball Coaches Association All-Region selections, and 13 D3Baseball.com All-Region honorees. In 2018, Bryan Gillen became the program's first-ever All-American when he was tabbed to the D3Baseball.com All-America Third Team. He was followed in 2022 by Owen Margolis, the first-ever consensus All-American after being selected Fifth Team by D3baseball.com and Second Team by the ABCA. In 2023, Alex Madera was named the second consensus All-American after being named Second-Team by the ABCA and Second-Team by D3baseball.com.
Torresani arrived in Glenside following a four-year run as head baseball coach at Immaculata University, where he amassed a program-record 78 victories while posting four winning seasons and setting the program record for wins three consecutive years. Immaculata had 26 All-CSAC selections during Torresani’s tenure, which included nine first-team nods and three American Baseball Coaches Association All-Region selections. His players also performed at a high level in the classroom, posting a 3.10 cumulative team GPA and landing 14 student-athletes on the CSAC All-Academic Team in his final season. Torresani served as an assistant coach at Division I LaSalle University and Division II Chestnut Hill College.
Torresani earned his bachelor’s degree in social studies education from Elizabethtown in 2006, and went on to earn his master’s degree in administration of human services at Chestnut Hill in 2010. Torresani was a four-year member of the baseball program, helping lead the Blue Jays to three straight postseason appearances, which included winning the MAC Commonwealth title and making an appearance at the NCAA Mideast Regional in 2006. The Hatboro native currently resides in his hometown with his wife, Chelsea, their daughter, Paige and son, Carson.
