Chuck Thielmann enters his third season in the Knights dugout in 2026.

In 2025, Thielmann led the Knights to the MAC Freedom Championship and the program's fourth-straight appearance in the NCAA Regionals, while also mentoring seven All-MAC Freedom selections

In his first season, Thielmann was named the MAC Freedom Co-Coach of the Year and led the program to its third-straight appearance in the NCAA Division III Regionals.

Thielmann came to Arcadia after serving as an Assistant Coach at fellow-MAC Freedom competitor Stevens Institute of Technology for six seasons, including the last season as the Associate Head Coach. While with the Ducks, Thielmann created and executed all practice plans and scouting reports, worked with the hitters and defense on game plan implementation, as well as handling all aspects of pitching development and game planning.

During his time at Stevens, Thielmann also served as the head coach for the Fond Du Lac Dock Spiders of the Northwoods Baseball League for their 2021 season. He was also the head coach of the Giants in the Atlantic Baseball Confederation Collegiate League for their 2020 season.

Thielmann graduated from Kean in 2016 with a degree in Communications. While with the Cougars, Thielmann reached the Division III College World Series twice and was named the 2013 NCAA Division III Baseball Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament Most Valuable Player. He holds the program record for most complete games in a career with 19 and is tied for the most wins in a single-season in program history with 10 in the 2013 season.
