Cory Beddick

  • Title
    Assistant Coach
Cory Beddick is entering his first season on the Arcadia Baseball coaching staff. Coach Beddick will be assisting with recruiting as well as working with the hitters and the infielders. Beddick will join the Knight’s staff after spending the last three seasons coaching in two outstanding Division III programs.

Beddick spent the past two years at Penn State Behrend College in Erie, PA where he worked with the hitters and infielders while serving as the program's recruiting coordinator and first base coach. During his two seasons the Behrend Lions compiled a record of 59-27-1. Behrend won the ECAC South Region Championship in 2012 and in 2013 won the program’s fifth AMCC Championship and went on to play in the NCAA Regionals. Throughout his tenure as an assistant at Behrend, Beddick coached eight AMCC All-Conference hitters, multiple All-Region players, and one ABCA Second-Team All-American third baseman.

In 2011 Beddick coached at Gettysburg College, his Alma Mater.  He spent the season working with hitters and all position players. Beddick graduated from Gettysburg College in 2010 and was a four year member of the Bullets baseball program. As a versatile infielder, Beddick spent time and started multiple games at first base, second base, third base, and shortstop. He is the first Bullet in at least twenty-eight years to start at each of the four infield positions. Beddick also was the baseball program’s representative to the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SACC) during his sophomore, junior, and senior years.

Beddick graduated from Gettysburg College with a degree in political science and a minor in History. In May of 2013 he received a MBA from Penn State Behrend’s Sam and Irene Black School of Business. He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.
