Dave Torresani

Dave Torresani finished his fourth season as an assistant baseball coach at Arcadia University in 2020. He brings over 30 years of playing and coaching experience to the Knights’ coaching staff.

In his first two seasons with Arcadia, the Knights captured back-to-back MAC Commonwealth Championships and made the program's first two trips to the NCAA Tournament since 2004. Arcadia's 33 wins in 2017 set a new single-season record, overcoming the 2004 team’s 28 victories. Arcadia nearly replicated the feat with 31 wins in 2018.

Dave Torresani most recently served as head baseball coach at Abington High School, where he led the Galloping Ghosts from 2007-16 after serving as head boys’ basketball coach from 1996-2007.

Dave Torresani has served as co-head coach of the Suburban One National/Bicentennial High School All-Star Team since 2007, which participates in the annual Carpenter Cup Tournament hosted by the Philadelphia Phillies. He has also led programs for the Horsham Heat (1998-2011), Horsham Little League (1994-98) and Roslyn American Legion (1985, 1990-95). At various points he has coached high school football along with women's basketball and softball at the collegiate level.

An Abington native, Dave Torresani was a member of the baseball team for two years at Penn State Abington and continued his collegiate career at East Stroudsburg University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in health and physical education in 1978. Torresani would later earn his master’s degree from Arcadia University in 1992.
