Pete O'Hara

Pete O’Hara recently completed his first year as assistant baseball coach at Arcadia University in 2015, where he is primarily responsible for the outfielders and base running in addition to hitting instruction and recruiting.
 
O’Hara graduated from Delaware Valley College in May 2014, where he was a decorated member of the baseball and football teams. In his four seasons with the Aggies’ baseball team, O’Hara was a three-year team captain and three-time All-Freedom Conference selection, earning Honorable Mention as in infielder as a senior after earning First-Team and Second-Team honors in the outfield his junior and freshman years, respectively. He went on to earn Second-Team ABCA All-Region honors his senior year, and finished his baseball career ranked second all-time at DelVal in hits (200), runs (154), and stolen bases (78).
 
As a member of the football team, O’Hara was a member of the 2010 and 2011 MAC Champion squads that would advance to the second round of the NCAA tournament, as well as the 2012 ECAC South Championship winning team. He was named the MAC Special Teams Player of the Year in 2011 and received the 2014 National Football Foundation Philadelphia Collegiate Scholar Athlete of the Year Award.
 
O’Hara earned his bachelor’s degree in business, and was a three-time MAC Spring and Fall Academic Honor Roll member.
 
O’Hara has served as an instructor at Total Skills Baseball, where he was responsible for working with kids of all ages to develop their baseball skills. During his time at Total Skills, O’Hara served as a camp assistant and planned drills and games for local baseball players.
