Amber Jewell is going into her eighth season Arcadia University Equestrian Head Coach. Arcadia's equestrian team competes in IHSA Zone 3, Region 2. Jewell is the president of this region making Arcadia the president college. This past season she coached one individual at Nationals and Semi finals and several at Regionals. The team had its highest finish in the region as western reserve high point team and that was without filling one level in all competitions. She enjoys working with all levels on the team and wants each team member to do their best and progress throughout the season.
Before coming to coach at Arcadia she was the equestrian team coach for Bucks County Community College both hunt seat and western, University of Pennsylvania western coach, and Temple University both hunt seat and western coach.
Jewell graduated from Arcadia in 2004 with a BA in Mathematics. She was captain of the team and an open level rider both hunt seat and western competing in regionals every year.
A native of Solebury, PA she now resides at her horse farm Red Wing Farm of 20 acres in Hilltown, PA where the team travels to for practices and many shows each season.
