Regan Sammons '23

Regan Sammons '23 enters her first season as the head coach of the Arcadia field hockey team in 2025.

Sammons brings continuity to the program, having served as the first-ever full time field hockey assistant coach at Arcadia during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. During her time as an assistant, Sammons helped guide the team to a semifinal appearance in 2023 and a championship game in 2024. Under her leadership, Arcadia saw individual success as well, with three players earning All-Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) honors in 2023 and four more recognized in 2024, including standout Morganne Dee, who was named the conference's Co-Offensive Player of the Year.

Before joining the coaching ranks, Sammons was a decorated field hockey student-athlete for the Knights. In her senior season, she earned Second Team All-Region IV honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA), was named First Team All-MAC Freedom, and was recognized on the Academic All-MAC team. Her name is etched throughout the Arcadia record books as she holds the program record for points in a game (9), ranks fourth in career goals (31), fifth in career points (72), and is tied for 10th in game-winning goals (5).

Sammons graduated from Arcadia in 2023 with a degree in psychology.
