Ben Bumgarner enters his third season as the assistant coach of the men's and women's cross country and track and field coach in 2025-26. He coached Micah Gordley to finish her cross country career at the NCAA National Championship meet.
Bumgarner joins Arcadia from State College Area High School where he served as a volunteer coach. There he helped to coach the middle distance and distance runners and helped organize and manage the team at practices and meets.
He graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology in 2022 and then earned a Masters of Education in Coaching and Athletic Administration from West Liberty in 2023. Bumgarner was also a five year member of the cross country and track teams at Penn State from 2017-2022.
