Dean Search '14 is entering his first season as assistant men's soccer coach at Arcadia University in 2015.
Search started his coaching career at nearby Immaculata University in 2014, where he served as the top assistant and was involved in all facets of the Mighty Macs’ program, including recruiting, practice planning and overseeing the team’s academic performance.
Following the conclusion of Immaculata’s season, Search served as a player development manager for the Chicago Fire’s U.S. Soccer Development Academy. He oversaw all operations for 14 teams in the program, including domestic and international travel logistics, home event operations, external and internal communications, and budgeting.
Search, who earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Arcadia, started in 29 of his 61 career games played in the midfield for Arcadia, totaling 10 goals and three assists for 23 career points, and totaled six game-winning goals. He started in 12 of his 15 games played as a senior, scoring three times with a pair of game-winners.
