Garret Eldridge enters his second season as assistant men’s soccer coach at Arcadia University in 2017.
In his first season on the bench for the Knights, Eldridge helped the Arcadia to a 9-8-4 record and a semifinal appearance in the MAC Commonwealth Championship along with a berth into the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championship Tournament. He coached National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Region honoree and CoSIDA Academic All-America® selection Bradley McKim.
Eldridge came to Arcadia after spending the 2015 season as an assistant on the Ursinus College men’s soccer staff. In his role at Ursinus, his responsibilities included creating training plans, scouting opponents, creating off season workout plans and recruiting.
Eldridge also brings professional playing experience to the Knights following stints with Sunshine Coast Fire FC and Pine Rivers Football Club in Australia from January 2016 til May 2016.
The Wayne, Pa. native graduated from Roanoke College in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in history. He was a three-time all-conference selection for the Maroons, including two first-team selections.
