Luke Tyler enters his second season at Arcadia University in 2017.
Tyler came to Arcadia with a wealth of coaching and talent identification experience following stints at Match Fit Academy and Soccer Development School, LLC, which he founded back in 2011. He served as the lead scout for talent relation at Match Fit, while coaching and running camps, clinics, private sessions and more at Soccer Development Schools.
Tyler gained coaching experience in England as the coach of Finedon Victoria Juniors Football Club from 2002-2010 and as the full-time football coach at Football Development Schools/West Bromwich Albion FC from October 2010-May 2011. He played professionally for Cambridge United, Stevenage Borough and Rushden & Diamonds from 2002-2006 followed by a semi-professional stint with Irchester United FC.
"Luke is a coach who brings professional playing and coaching experience to our staff” said Nydick. “He is very well rounded in terms of his work with different positional groups in training and conducting sessions as a whole. Additionally, his international experiences as well as his work in New Jersey with elite level club soccer will be a huge benefit to our program."
