High School: 2015 graduate of Manalapan High School, where he was coached by John Natoli as a member of the soccer team… Served as team captain and was an All-State selection as a senior… Was a two-time conference and district Player of the Year… Was a three-time All-District selection… Led his team to a conference and state championship… totaled 35 goals and 20 assists in his varsity career.
 
Personal: Son of Nancy and Michael Hammer… Has two brothers, Eric and Adam… Eric is a graduate of Rutgers University, while Adam is a graduate of the University of Maryland.
