Tara Rogers

Tara Rogers finished her second season as an assistant coach for the Arcadia men’s and women’s swimming team in 2019-20.

The Knights put together one of the best seasons in program history in 2019-20. The men's team posted a 9-0-1 record and placed 3rd overall at the MAC Championships. Arcadia earned all-conference recognition in six events, headlined by TJ Dalton, who was crowned champion in three events and was selected MAC Swimmer of the Year. On the women's side, the Knights were 8-2 and placed 3rd overall at the MAC Championships. The women earned all-conference honors in five events.

In her first season with the Knights, the men's team finished with a 10-3 record while the women were 9-4. Both programs placed third overall out of 12 teams at the 2019 MAC Championships. The men finished with four conference champions and earned 12 all-conference selections, while the women garnered all-conference distinction in five events. 
 
Rogers comes to Glenside after earning her bachelor of science degree in Kinesiology from Penn State in May 2018. While at Penn State, Rogers was a member of the Nittany Lions swimming and diving team and club water polo team.
 
Rogers was named to the Academic All-Big Ten team in the spring of 2016 and received the outstanding scholar athlete award from the Women’s Collegiate Water Polo Association in the spring of 2018.
 
Rogers also currently works as an intern at McMhon Associates in Fort Washington, Pa.
 
Rogers is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in physical therapy from Arcadia.
