Kyle Seeley

Kyle Seeley finished his first season on the men's volleyball coaching staff in 2020.

In 2020, the Knights played one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the country, as the squad took on several top-15 teams in the nation and were ranked 10th in the nation by AVCA entering the year. Arcadia produced an 11-10 overall record and a 3-2 mark in conference contests before the MAC canceled the remainder of spring seasons on March 16. Despite the season being cut short, senior Austin Braas led all of NCAA Division III in hitting percentage for the second-consecutive season en route to earning AVCA All-East Region and First-team All-America honors.

A 2017 graduate of Juniata College with a B.S. in human behavior and minor in management, Seeley brings several years of combined coaching and playing experience at the Division III level to Arcadia.

In his four years as a middle blocker/opposite hitter at Juniata, Seeley helped the Eagles reach the NCAA Div. III national championship match (2014), earn two conference championships (2014, 2017), and make it to the Elite Eight of the 2017 NCAA Div. III tournament. His personal accolades include Continental Volleyball Conference all-tournament team (2016, 2017), CVC tournament MVP (2017), CVC All-Conference (2017), and two-time NCAA Div. III All-American (2016, 2017).

Upon graduation, Seeley moved to Boston where he was an assistant coach at Emmanuel College helping the Lions reach the semifinals of the GNAC tournament and seeing one player selected to the all-conference team.

In August of 2018, Seeley moved to Philadelphia, where began pursuing a master’s degree in public health from Drexel University. Seeley has been coaching high school girls’ volleyball for the Philadelphia Starlings Volleyball Academy since December of 2018.

Seeley continues to play competitive volleyball across the country and participated in several tournaments throughout the year.
