Harrison finished her second season as an assistant coach in 2017, after becoming the program’s first full-time assistant upon her hire in the summer of 2015. In her time at Arcadia, Harrison helped guide the Knights to back-to-back MAC Commonwealth Championship appearances along with two straight Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championship Tournament titles.
After being picked to finish outside the playoff picture, Harrison helped lead the Knights to 25 wins in 2016 and the fifth seed in the MAC Commonwealth Championship. The Knights went on to claim their first ECAC title in a three-game series over Cabrini. With the 2017 season came 30 wins and a three-way tie for second place in the final MAC Commonwealth standings. The Knights earned the fourth seed in the MAC Commonwealth Championship following tiebreak procedures, before receiving the top seed in the ECAC Championship Tournament which they went on to win with an 11-3 triumph over second-seeded Stockton in the Championship Game. Arcadia was ranked in each of the NCAA’s Regional Rankings, including No. 6 in the season’s debut ranking.
Harrison coached eight All-MAC Commonwealth selections in her tenure at Arcadia, including Jackie Bilotti who was also named the 2016 MAC Commonwealth and ECAC Division III South Rookie of the Year, the 2017 MAC Commonwealth Player of the Year, a two-time National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region selection and a 2017 CoSIDA Academic All-District® First-Team selection; along with the 2017 MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Year in Kylee Schwind. As the outfield coach, she guided Kristin Cancelliere to All-Conference recognition in 2017.
Prior to coming to Arcadia, Harrison spent six seasons at Stevens Institute of Technology, where she assisted in all facets of the program from its inception as a varsity program. The Ducks posted a winning record in three of those seasons, and won a program-record 30 games as they advanced to the title round of the 2014 ECAC Championship Tournament. Stevens won 27 games in 2015 and was back in the ECAC championship final for the second consecutive year.
In her six seasons, Stevens totaled 22 Empire 8 All-Conference selections, six National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region selections, and five ECAC Division III Upstate All-Stars, including the 2014 Empire 8 and ECAC Upstate Pitcher of the Year.
A native of Rankin, Pennsylvania, Harrison was a four-year letter winner at Bucknell University, where she served as team captain as a senior and earned NFCA and Patriot League all-academic honors.
Harrison earned her bachelor's degree in economics with a concentration in sociology and minors in legal studies and African American studies from Bucknell in 2007. She went on to a career in the private sector, most recently working as a business manager for UBS in its Communications & Branding, Americas division.
