Francesca Lee

Francesca Lee finished her sixth season as assistant women's basketball coach at Arcadia University in 2019-20, where she assists in all facets of the Knights' program. 

In 2019-20, the Knights finished 12-13 overall, including a 7-9 mark in MAC Commonwealth contests, marking the third-straight season with a double digit win total. Taylor Dunn earned First-team All-MAC Commonwealth honors for the second-consecutive season in addition to Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Team laurels, marking the program's first-ever selection.

Arcadia finished 12-14 overall and 9-7 in league play in 2018-19, earning the No. 4 seed in the MAC Commonwealth Championships and hosting a postseason game for the first time in program history. 

Prior to coming to Arcadia, Lee served as the head coach with the Joseph Kessler Memorial Basketball Association and the Inter-County Basketball League, working with girls of high school and junior high school ages. She was directly responsible for all aspects of the managing the teams, including game and practice planning and skill development.
 
Lee is very familiar with Commonwealth Conference, having started for three of her four years at conference rival Widener University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 2013.
 
Lee helped lead the Pride to arguably the most successful season in program history in 2012-13, which saw the Widener tie for first in the Commonwealth Conference regular season standings and advance to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. The Pride finished the season with an overall record of 26-4, setting a school record for wins, and finished the year ranked 12th in the nation by D3hoops.com and ranked 13th in the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association poll.
