Alex Swan is in his first season as assistant men’s and women’s volleyball coach at Arcadia University in 2015-16. He assists in all facets of the Knights’ programs, including practice planning, scouting and recruiting.
Swan was a four-year starter as a member of the men’s volleyball club program at Millersville University, where he helped lead the Marauders to four consecutive top-10 finishes at the national championship tournament.
After graduating, Swan was signed to the training roster for the Florida Wave of the Professional Volleyball League. He remains an active competitor in the sport, playing in high-level semi-pro beach and grass court tournaments.
Swan earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Millersville in 2011, and earned his master’s degree in sport administration from the University of Miami (Fla.) in 2015.
