Former All-American and NCAA Division III Player of the Year Stephanie Kines is entering her first season as an assistant women’s volleyball coach at Arcadia University in 2015.
Kines was a three-time First-Team AVCA All-American (2004-06) middle blocker and two-time National Champion as a member of the women’s volleyball program at Juniata College, where she finished her career as one of the program’s all-time leaders in blocks (413) and kills (1,519). Kines was named the 2003 AVCA Mid-Atlantic Region Freshman of the Year and went on to be named the 2006 AVCA Player of the Year after totaling 373 kills and 105 blocks while hitting .425 for the season.
Kines helped lead the Eagles three straight appearances in the NCAA Division III national championship match from 2004-06. She helped them capture their first-ever national championship in 2004, and led Juniata to its second national title two years later.
A 2007 Juniata graduate, Kines has coached both club and high school volleyball teams in the Baltimore area, working closely with middle hitters and blockers.
