Adam Mack was named Arcadia's first Men's and Women's Fencing Coach in March 2026.
Mack came to Glenside after most recently serving as Collegiate Director for the United States Fencing Coaches Association. In this role, Mack served as the voice for all collegiate fencing coaches to the NCAA and national committee, in addition to developing a training program for future coaches that focuses on recruiting, fundraising, team culture, and and the ins and outs of NCAA Fencing.
Prior to his time with the United States Fencing Coaches Association, Mack served as Regional Events Coordinator with the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee and USA Fencing where he oversaw a bid process for receiving, reviewing, awarding, scheduling, and creating regional events, acted as the main point of contact for all regions and divisions regarding tournaments.Â
Mack also brings experience coaching at his alma mater, Cleveland State, where he was Director of Operations and Assistant Coach. In this role, Mack oversaw day-to-day program logistics, including scheduling practices, coordinating travel, and managing equipment inventory. Mack also helped organize home meets and large-scale tournaments such as the 2018 NCAA Midwest Regional, 2019 NCAA Fencing Championships, and the Midwest Conference Championship from 2017 to 2021.
Mack graduated with a degree in Sports Management from Cleveland State, where he was a member of the Vikings program. Mack helped lead Cleveland State to a second-place finish at the 2016 Midwest Fencing Conference Championship, finishing 10th individually at the tournament. Mack also earned a silver medal at the 2015 Maccabi Games in Berlin, Germany in both the individual and team foil.
