Michael Hebenstreit

Michael Hebenstreit enters his 13th year at Arcadia and was promoted to Associate Director of Athletics and tasked with overseeing all athletic facilities in 2021. He was previously named Assistant Director of Athletics in June of 2019 after serving as the Athletics Business Manager since February 2016. Hebenstreit first arrived in Glenside as the department's Director of Intramurals, Recreation, and Student Employment in August 2013.

As Arcadia's Associate Director of Athletics, Hebenstreit oversees special athletics events, as well as facilities, transportation, game contracts, and referees, in addition to the department's annual golf outing fundraiser.

Prior to 2019-20, Hebenstreit oversaw all financial operations of the athletic department. Hebenstreit previously oversaw Arcadia's growing intramural and recreation programs that are available to all members of the campus community, coordinates all student employment for Athletics with the One Stop Shop, and schedules event management student workers for all home athletic contests. He also serves as a Kuch Center Manager, and performs various other duties as assigned.
 
Hebenstreit served a graduate assistant at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham campus from 2009-11, where he managed all facets of the intramural program, which included scheduling all leagues and events, hiring, training, and supervising the student work staff for those events.
 
After obtaining his master’s degree from FDU, Hebenstreit worked in New York City as an intern in client services at MKTG Inc., an international marketing services agency. While at MKTG Hebenstreit primarily worked on the company’s NIKE account. He worked on several activations, which included the 2011 Army vs. Navy Football game, the 2012 BCS National Championship game between LSU and Alabama, the Broadway Bowl, an event showcasing the newly formed partnership between NIKE and the NFL, NIKE’s 40 year celebration of Title IX, and many others.
 
Hebenstreit earned his bachelor's degree in sports management with a minor in business administration from Saint Joseph's College (Maine) in May 2009. He then earned his master's degree in sports administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in May 2011.
 
A native of Centerville, Massachusetts, Hebenstreit currently resides in Oreland with his wife, Felicia, daughter, Rylie, and son, Connor.
