Danielle Duffy is in her 12th year as Head Athletic Trainer at Arcadia University in 2025-26, third as an athletic administrator, and first as the Senior Woman Administrator after being elevated in April 2025. 

Duffy joined the athletic department prior to the start of the 2014-15 academic year. She oversees the care of the Knights’ 550-plus student-athletes, and is responsible for all administrative duties associated with the athletic training department. Duffy became a two-time recipient of the Arcadia Athletics Staff Service Award in 2020-21, being recognized for her exceptional leadership with campus and community covid-19 surveillance testing. Duffy also received the prestigious Martha Washington Award at Arcadia's "Years of Service" luncheon in 2022.
 
Duffy arrived at Arcadia after serving as an assistant athletic trainer at Guilford College from 2010-14 after first arriving at the school as an intern in 2008. She provided coverage for several teams at both home and away contests, including baseball, women’s basketball, football, women’s soccer, swimming and women’s volleyball.
 
Duffy also served as a professor in the Sports Studies department, teaching courses in health and wellness promotion and stress management. She gained additional experience as an athletic trainer at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill summer camps.
 
Duffy received her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Lenoir-Rhyne College in 2008, and earned her master's degree from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro in sport and exercise psychology in 2010.
