DALLAS, Pa.: Arcadia University Men's Tennis capped their fall season on Sunday, defeating host Misericordia University 9-0 in the non-conference match. The win was the first for the Knights this fall and ended a busy weekend where the team played at the Middle Atlantic Conferences (MAC) Individual Championships in nearby Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
The Knights (1-2 overall) finished doubles play against the host Cougars with a perfect result and continued that pace through singles competition.
The pairing of senior Max Amiel (New Providence, NJ/New Providence) and first year Mitchell Narazov (Baltimore, MD/Pikesville) eased their way past Misericordia's Shane Hall and Robert Knipper in an 8-0 shutout. Amiel later faced Knipper at No. 4 singles and dominated the match, winning 6-0, 6-0. Narazov faced Hall at No. 6 singles, allowing Hall just one point in a 6-0, 6-1 win for the Knights.
