Myrtle Beach, S.C., Wednesday, March 16, 2011-- Arcadia University Softball again dominated Suffolk University, blasting their opponent 19-2 in today's opening game, however, facing Lycoming College in the nightcap, the Warriors were able to avenge Monday's loss to Arcadia by shuting out the Knights 8-0 in the fifth inning. After beginning the season 6-0, the Knights fall to 6-2 overall with two final games on tap for Thursday before returning to Glenside.

Brandee Zablotsky was perfect on the day, combining on 4-for-4 at the plate, with three runs scored, five RBI her first home run of the season, and a triple over the two games. Zablotsky was one of three Knights with a perfect outing on Wednesday as senior
Virginia Buechel, who now sits just three hits shy of 150-career hits, went 3-for-3 with one run scored and two RBI while junior
Lindsey Henchinski batted 3-for-3 with three runs scored, a triple, a sac fly and four RBI. Junior
Erin Wojcieszyn drillled two doubles on 3 for 4 at the plate with three runs scored and three RBI. First-year
Amanda Tomasheck hit 2-for-3 with a pair of walks and an RBI while senior
Ashley McCarthy scored 2 runs and was hit by a pitch going 1-for-2 as the plate with two RBI. Junior
Kelsey Roberts earned the game one win over Suffolk.
The Knights play out their final day of spring break ball Thursday, battling against Principia at 11:30 a.m. followed by Barton at 1:30 p.m.
