GLENSIDE, Pa., Thursday, April 21, 2011-- Arcadia University Men's Tennis cruised to their second consecutive 9-0 victory in as many days with Thursday's win over Commonwealth Conference rival Albright College, closing out the 2011 league schedule with a 2-4 record and improving to 4-8 overall.
It was smooth sailing for the Knights' Doubles and Singles. After Arcadia pocketed a 3-0 lead following doubles action, they would go on to out-score the Lions 72-13 in singles competition for the win.
All that remains on the Knight's 2011 schedule are two non-league matches, playing at home April 22 against local opponent Penn State Abington (4 p.m.) and at Muhlenberg on April 26 (5:30 p.m.). The Knight's final match at home against King's College will likely be postponed until the Fall 2011 season.
